Things to do in Cornwall
There are plenty of activities close to the park: surfing lessons, fishing, walking the coast path, cycling and local golf courses.
Surfing
Polzeath has surf tuition for beginners through to experienced surfers. Surf's Up is based locally, while nearby shops provide boards, wetsuits and beach equipment.
Golf
With around 30 courses across Cornwall there is plenty of choice. Trevose, St Enodoc, Bowood and The Point are among the park's local favourites.
The Camel Trail
The estuary-side trail to Padstow is spectacular throughout the year. Bikes can be hired locally, making it an easy family day out from Wadebridge.
Fishing and wildlife
Fishing and sightseeing trips leave from Port Isaac and other nearby harbours, offering a different view of the North Cornish coast and the chance to spot seals, dolphins, basking sharks and seabirds.
